23 April - 15 June 2007
Chile - Argentina - Peru
Among the many stories Xanthe tells are “acting out” stories. We knew these stories would be a hit with primary students as the acting involves them in the story itself. What we didn’t know was that teenagers would also be eager to act out Xanthe´s stories also!

Storyteller Anne Stewart
5 February - 16 March 2007
Mexico - Colombia
Anne brought stories from Australia. Students loved her Cat’s Cradle string games, and had fun trying to figure out how to get out of handcuffs. They will now remember that Australia began as a penal colony!

Storyteller Kevin MacKenzie
13 February - 7 April 2006
Mexico - Ecuador - Brasil
With Kevin we visited Mexico and Ecuador for the first time and Brazil for a 4th tour. Kevin inspired pupils of all ages to participate in his original finger plays. In Ecuador he did a one-week residency in the British School of Quito from the 20th-24th of March.

The children loved the puppets that Erik brought to help tell folktales from South Africa. Teenagers and adults were moved by “Blue is the Water,” a story about the loss of racial identity. In Mexico City, Erik did a presentation with the support of the South African Embassy in Mexico.
